Barry Manilow Admits That Lung Cancer Diagnosis ‘Rocked’ Him: ‘I Thought I Was Dying’

Barry Manilow, a music legend, has revealed that his stage 1 lung cancer diagnosis left him feeling uncertain and thought he might be dying. The 82-year-old singer was diagnosed in November after undergoing tests that unexpectedly revealed the cancer. He underwent a lobectomy to remove the diseased part of his lung four weeks later and is now cancer-free. Maniloucece is focused on recovery and focusing on his goals. He is also working towards his 23-show Las Vegas residency and plans to return to the UK in June for additional concerts.
