Family and friends held a balloon release in memory of Crystal Russ, a mother who was found shot and killed in an apparent murder-suicide in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. Police found Russ and William Broadus dead with gunshot wounds in an SUV that crashed into a neighbor's home. The couple was reportedly going through a separation when Broadus shot his wife, according to family members. They added that Russ had filed a "protection from abuse" order against Broadus and had filed for a protection from abuse order against him.
