Fetterman asks for heightened security for NFL Draft in Pittsburgh

Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) has asked the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to increase security for the National Football League (NFL) draft in Pittsburgh, which is expected to attract over 700,000 fans and over 50 million viewers. This comes as the conflict in Iran continues, with President Trump urging Iran to make a deal to end the conflict. The senator has requested a Level 2 designation from DHS, which he argues will provide greater coordination and deployment of federal, state, and local law enforcement.
