Alert issued for pizza, pork rinds sold nationwide over salmonella risk

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has issued a health alert for several pizza and pork rinds sold nationwide due to possible salmonella contamination. The FSIS has warned that multiple meat and poultry products with dairy ingredients could be contaminated. There have been no confirmed illnesses linked to these products. The alert lists eight different products, but it is expected that more products will be identified as part of this recall.
