Kaydence Carpenter, a 20-year-old Kentucky woman, allegedly drunkenly drove her Tesla Model 3 into a crowd of pedestrians early in the morning, injuring at least four people. The incident occurred in a downtown Lexington parking lot and was captured on video. Carpenter, who reeked of booze and later bombed a sobriety field test, was charged with four counts of second-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment, DUI, reckless driving, and allowing a person under the age of 21 to operate on premises where alcohol is sold. A judge has been asked to suspend her driver’s license until the case is resolved.
