Rep. James Clyburn, a longtime Democratic leader in the House, is set to make a campaign announcement in Columbia, S.C. He will be replaced by Rep. Joe Neguse, who had previously been the party's whip until 2022. Clyburn was first elected to the House in 1992 and has been South Carolina's senior member since 2011.
