The TP-Link Roam 7 is a compact mobile router designed to provide secure Wi-Fi 7 wherever you go. The small device, measuring 4.9 x 3.7 x 1.5 inches and weighing just under nine ounces, includes two adjustable antennas and rubber feet to keep the unit stable. The Roam can support up to 90 other connected devices at once and can also support high-speed wired connections. However, setting up the device was difficult due to some issues with the app refusing to connect to the router multiple times and signal drops. The device also comes with a handful of features such as a security scanner and a USB 3.0 port for file sharing. For testing, ZDNET found that using the Roam7 did not cause any negative connection quality.
