Chaparelle, a country and rock & roll duo Jesse Woods and Zella Day, have been married and their producer and third pillar of the band, Beau Bedford, officiated their wedding ceremony earlier this month. This will be their first performance at the Austin Blues Festival as a married couple. The band's debut album, Western Pleasure, launched them nationally with a retro-styled country and retro-style sound last year. However, they have faced challenges in writing their follow-up album, including trying to recapture the magic captured in their debut album. Day credits her early success to her debut album in 2009 at age 14 and a major label deal with Hollywood Records for her 2015 sophomore LP, Kicker. She is currently working on a 2020 EP produced by Danbach and Danuerbach.
