Michael B. Jordan and Austin Butler Are the New Leading Men of ‘Miami Vice ‘85’

Universal Pictures has announced plans to release an IMAX-shot period reboot of the popular crime franchise, titled Miami Vice '85. Michael B. Jordan and Austin Butler are confirmed to play the legendary detective duo, Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs and James "Sonny" Crockett. The film is directed by Joseph Kosinski and is set to be released in the summer of 2027. The adaptation will explore the high-stakes glamour and corruption of mid-80s Miami.
