Timberwolves focus on playoff push and World Baseball Classic, too

The Timberwolves are currently in the Western Conference playoff race, but the World Baseball Classic is providing a distraction. Dante Nori, the son of Minnesota assistant coach Micah Nori and baseball player Dante, has been a standout player for Italy in the tournament. Despite the Timberwolves' focus on the playoff push, their manager, Chris Finch, co-owner Alex Rodriguez, and others within the organization can't stop and cheer for one of their own. The Nori family values baseball as a family sport, with Dante wearing Italia across his chest for this tournament.
