The UNLV men’s basketball program has secured a commitment from forward Tyler Harris to join the Runnin’ Rebels for the 2026-27 season. Harris, a 6-foot-7-inch, 210-pound forward originally from California, is transferring from Vanderbilt, where he was a member of the SEC program for the past season. He joins Terrance Ford Jr., Cam Miles, and MJ Thomas as incoming players to the Runners’ Rebel program. Harris has previously played at Washington and Portland and earned All-West Coast Conference Freshman Team honors as a freshman during the 2023-24 campaign at Portland. He is also a long, athletic wing who fits what the Runne’Rebels are looking to use for their scoring ability and defensive prowess. Two other players have committed to return to the program after playing as freshmen in 2025-26.
