Malaysia's First World Hotel in the Genting Highlands, which holds the Guinness record for the largest hotel in the world, has over 7,000 rooms and has held that spot since regaining it in 2015. The hotel is located about 50 kms north of Kuala Lumpur and is built into Resorts World Genting, with direct access to shopping, theme parks, and the country’s only legal casino area. Despite its reputation as a high-volume, budget-friendly option, the hotel still offers a unique experience with rooms ranging from basic to club level priced at around $25 per night. However, some rules and etiquette were noted, including no WiFi in the rooms and a requirement for a casino card.
