Free-agent quarterback Trey Lance is returning to the Los Angeles Chargers on a one-year deal worth up to $6.75 million. Despite being the No. 3 pick in the 2021 draft by the San Francisco 49ers, Lance has not yet achieved significant success. His only start came in the season finale against the Denver Broncos.
