Toyota's 2026 Grand Highlander Hybrid, the largest crossover crossover in its class, has been a hit with fans since 2023 for its size and a success in the family truckster market due to its roomier third row and high-performance hybrid options. For 2026, there will be a total of 10 trims to choose from, including six hybrid models. The Toyota Grand Highlander, in both hybrid and non-hybrid forms, has few peers in its size due to the size of the Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tuscon, and Kia Sportage. The hybrid lineup features a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder setup with two electric motors and a six-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission, providing a combined 362 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque to the road through all four corners. The Grand Highlander's cost starts at $57,890, while the Lexus TX starts between the two highest trims (both hybrids) and the plug-in TX 550h+ Luxury. The car's other competitor, the Mazda CX-90 PHEV, begins at $50,495, with a more focused focus on performance compared to the Toyota's focus on providing more room in the back than its smaller sibling.
