Peyton Beam, a 22-year-old volunteer firefighter from Ansonia, Ohio, has been charged with aggravated murder for killing Ericka Kramer, set her home on fire and responding to the fire with the fire department. The house fire was reported on April 10 and when firefighters arrived, Kramer's body was found inside the home. Beam, who is being held on a $5 million bond, is accused of shooting Kramer four times before setting the house on fire. Prosecutors and defense lawyers say Beam had a "mother-forth" relationship with Kramer and had nothing to do with her death.
