A new aspect of a redesign project for the Barret Avenue Corridor in Louisville could see the elimination of one side of street parking along the busy stretch. The city has proposed a one-way bike lane on the busy street from Rufer Avenue to East Breckinridge Street, which would affect small businesses like Liquor Glamour Nail Bar. Business owners argue that this would significantly impact their clients and their livelihoods.
