Passenger killed, driver critically injured in Boyle County UTV crash

A woman was killed and a man seriously injured in a UTV crash in Gravel Switch, Kentucky, according to the Kentucky State Police. The crash occurred shortly before 9 p.m. on Friday night. The driver, Jason Whitaker, was airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The passenger, Connie Thompson, was pronounced dead at the scene. Toxicology results are pending.
