The company has deployed two AI agents, named after former executives Fred Ehrsam and Balaji Srinivasan, to aid employees with thinking outside the box in an effort to stimulate innovation. The launch of the x402 protocol for agentic AI payments on crypto and fiat rails comes amid expectations that AI agent will become the dominant users of blockchain payments in the coming years.
