She shared this moment with Rodrigo during a backstage meeting. Auf Der Maur also noted that Rodrigo's albums, Sour (2021) and Guts (2023), have a strong "adult" influence in both songwriting and production. Rodrigo has previously cited female artists like Alanis Morissette, Avril Lavigne, Lorde, Taylor Swift, Paramore’s Hayley Williams and Fiona Apple as inspirations.
