This comes as mild and windy conditions are accelerating snowmelt, leading to significant runoff expected across the region. This is particularly concerning in the Outaouais, Laurentians, Lanaudière, and Mauricie regions. Quebec's emergency information service, Urgence Québec, has issued a warning to residents, particularly in the Laurentians and Outaoudais.
