A South Florida special needs cheer team is heading to the world championship

A South Florida cheer team, known as "Superstarz," is set to compete in the world championship. This is the only team of special needs cheerleaders from the entire state of Florida that qualified for the competition. The team practices 2-3 days a week and spends its money on their performance. They won 2nd place in their division last year and are eager to win the first-place trophy. Co-owner and coach Kristin Ramiglia started the team five years ago after their brother died in a car crash. The coaches volunteer their time and competition costs are covered by fundraisers.
