Exclusive: Wind projects delayed as Trump's Pentagon reviews stall

The Trump administration is delaying military reviews on more than two dozen wind farms across the U.S. due to delays in the military reviews that were once considered routine. The delays are affecting a race led by tech companies and backed by President Trump to build power-hungry data centers. At least 30 onshore wind farms projects are affected by the Pentagon paperwork logjam, which could result in around 7.5 gigawatts of stalled capacity. The American Clean Power Association is waiting to hear back on a letter sent earlier this month to Assistant Secretary of War Dale Marks to explain the delays. The administration has cited national security concerns over offshore wind projects as its main reason for its delay.
