Police have revealed that over $400,000 in copper wire was stolen from a Plymouth Township, Pennsylvania, engineering company over several months. Three people have been arrested and two more remain wanted. The thefts occurred at Infrasource, which is adjacent to the recently closed Cleveland Cliffs Steel plant. The suspects broke into the property overnight, spending hours cutting the wire from spools and transporting it to scrap yards. The total theft of 15,000 pounds of copper wire dates back to 2025.
