The estimates are based on information such as when, where, and for how long people plan to host, as well as the type of listing they intend to offer. A spokesperson for Airbnb suggested that this tool could help drive new stays. To meet demand in World Cup cities and support new hosts, Airbnb has launched its biggest new-host incentive program, offering $750 to new entire-home hosts in any of the 16 World Cup host cities who welcome their first guests by July 31.
