Strong thunderstorms are expected throughout the day for southeast Georgia, northeast Florida, bringing damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall. The storms are expected to move east from the mid-morning and move offshore by mid-afternoon. The main threats are high winds, lightning, localized flooding. North Florida will be breezy to windy ahead of the storms, with sustained 20-25 mph expected.
