China's largest streaming platform, IQiyi, plans to use AI to create most of its new films and TV shows within five years. The company's CEO, Gong Yu, revealed this at an annual content showcase alongside an AI toolkit called Nadou Pro, which can automate every step of filmmaking from scriptwriting to final rendering. The goal is to release a fully AI-generated movie by summer, with the launch of this summer.
