A new vape shop in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, could open just a few feet away from another nearby vape shop. The location has been subject to hundreds of emails from residents expressing concern over being near two schools. Township commissioners have stated they cannot legally forbid the shops from opening but can restrict where they can be located and close to schools, parks, and churches through zoning restrictions. Some residents have argued that a vape shop would not appeal to families who already live there. The new shop would be located near where existing shops are located.
