Artificial intelligence (AI) represents a "massive reshuffle" for Dallas-Fort Worth companies, according to Comerica Bank CEO Bill Adams, who made the remarks at a tech industry luncheon series called Tech Titans. The event was hosted by the Prestonwood Country Club and sponsored by the University of Texas-Dallas. Adams suggested that AI-related industries are booming, with a boom expected to continue throughout 2026. However, he warned that the transition around AI could bring its own labor market pain. He also compared the current upheaval around AI to past technological transformations that have increased productivity but resulted in significant labor cutbacks.
