Scattered showers and storms are possible throughout the day as a front approaches the Jacksonville area, with temperatures expected to drop into the 60s overnight. The area is expected to dry on Monday and Tuesday as another area of high pressure will move in behind the front. Despite this, little rainfall is expected over the next seven days. There is an opportunity for rain later this week, but coverage will only be around 40%. Most of the area remains in an extreme drought. The good news is that the weather may change as we head into the end of April, with a higher probability of above normal rainfall.
