Detroit man Jarvis Butts, convicted of murdering 13-year-old Na'Ziyah Harris, passed away in prison two weeks after his conviction. He pleaded guilty to multiple charges in six cases in February, including second-degree murder in Harris' murder. On March 12, he was sentenced to 35-60 years in prison for the murder and 10-15 years for five other sexual assault charges. His death is being reported as a suicide. As part of a plea agreement, additional charges in the six cases were dismissed.
