Man drives off dealership lot without paying $8,600 repair bill: Beachwood police blotter

Police were called to Crestmont Cadillac, 26000 Chagrin Blvd., on March 2, after a man drove off without paying for repairs on his 2010 Cadillac CTS vehicle. The work was completed and cost was $8,674.20. The man was informed that his car was ready for pickup and drove in a loaner car provided. He left the loaner vehicle in the area designated for returns and drove off the lot without paying. The service manager contacted him by phone several times, but he hung up. He is now being sought for grand theft. Shaker Heights woman, 22, reported two fraudulent withdrawals from her Chase Bank account on Feb. 28. An officer stopped at a traffic light on George Zeiger Drive and found that the driver's license plate had expired on Dec. 8, 2025. The suspect was arrested for driving with a suspended license and driving with expired plates.
