The partial federal government shutdown has impacted travel in Rochester, with many air passengers wondering if it will impact their travel plans. The director of the Frederick Douglas Greater Rochester International Airport, Andy Moore, stated that the shutdown shouldn't impact their operations as security agents at ROC are not directly employed or paid by the federal government. He also encouraged passengers to arrive earlier than usual due to the anticipated influx of travelers.
