Joan Pannuti, a 50-year-old mother who died at a St. Patrick's Day parade in Kentucky after falling under a float, was identified as Joan Pannutti, a member of her church in Louisville. The incident occurred on the afternoon of March 14 and was reported by the Louisville Metro Police Department. Pannuti was taken to University of Louisville Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. Her husband, Tony Pottinger, described the accident as "truly a freak accident." Pannotti was remembered as a "force for good" and an active volunteer for St. Agnes Catholic Church and school. A GoFundMe page has been established to raise money on behalf of Pannoti's family.
