Ohioans for Cannabis Choice has failed to secure enough signatures to block Senate Bill 56, a massive overhaul to Ohio's marijuana laws. The changes will go into effect on March 20. The bill, which was passed last year, will eliminate intoxicating hemp products and place additional restrictions on marijuana. Those against the bill believe it will lead to thousands of businesses closing and more stringent regulations.
