White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt gives birth to second child

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has given birth to her second child, named Viviana aka "Vivi". This makes her the first person to give birth while serving in her position. Her first child was born during the 2024 presidential campaign. Her final White House press briefing was held on April 27 after the alleged attempted assassination of President Donald Trump. Leavit is the youngest White House Press Secretary in history and one of only eight women to hold the position.
