David Robbins, a beloved resident of Clinton, New Jersey, has been embraced by the community for over a half-century. Born with an intellectual disability, Robbins, who struggled with academics but excelled at school spirit, became a fixture at local sporting events and earned the nickname "Dave the Rave" starting in the 1960s. Despite his struggles with academics and social issues, Robbins has been celebrated for his love of the community. He turned 80 last week and the whole town celebrated his 80th birthday.
