Donald Hinton, an area investor, has transformed his life from imprisonment to owning 19 properties in the QCA. Hinton was convicted of obscuring his knowledge of real estate and saving money, and after his release in 2019, he connected with a landlord who sold him a duplex. He now owns a portfolio of 19 properties and publishes two books on financial freedom. He also shares his knowledge with the community and opened up his own house as a group home.
