Queer Eye star Karamo Brown has shared his unconventional path to fatherhood, where he didn't even know he had a child until his son, Jason "Rachel" Brown, when he was 9 years old. His pregnancy was conceived after he and his female best friend, Stephanie, vowed to lose their virginities together as teens. Despite initially being gay at 14, Karamo kept Stephanie away from him and never saw her again until 25 when he found out she had been pregnant. He returned to Texas to sort out the situation and met his son Jason, now 29, and later adopted his half-brother, Christian, a year later. Despite missing out on years with his son due to his mother's choice, he remains grateful for her decision to have him as a father. Karamo also expressed pride for his family and hopes their story inspires others to achieve their goals regardless of obstacles in life.
