Man faces drug charges after obstructing officers: Bay Village police blotter

A man has been charged with driving under suspension, fictitious plates, obstructing official business, and expired registration after obstructing officers during a traffic stop. The suspect had an active felony warrant through the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office and is now facing additional charges. A probable cause search of the vehicle yielded a large quantity of marijuana and items consistent with drug distribution. Two juveniles were taken into custody on March 1 and their parents were counseled about the new ordinances regarding e-bikes. A resident reported an unwanted guest at their home and was taken to a nearby hotel. On March 2, a 29-year-old Shaker Heights resident was arrested for allegedly speeding and hiding items in a high-profile vehicle.
