Swiss parliament approves compensation for Crans-Montana bar fire victims

The Swiss lower house of parliament has approved plans to pay 50,000 Swiss francs ($64,000) to survivors and families of a New Year's Eve bar fire in Crans-Montana. The fire, which killed 41 people and injured 115, was caused by the use of sparkle candles. The funding had already been approved by the upper house of Parliament.
