The New York Knicks lost 109-108 to the Atlanta Hawks in their first-round series, ending the game 2 with a 2-1 lead. The Knicks, who were the best fourth-quarter team in the league this year, were trailing in the final minute of the game. However, they managed to claw back the deficit in Game 3, taking a three-point lead with a minute to play. In the final minutes, CJ McCollum hit the go-ahead jumper with 12.7 ticks left. The Hawks, who have won 19 of their last 24 games, are clearly a good team and the Knicks are the same. The series is currently in a 50-50 series, with Tyson Daniels struggling to score this series.
