Cody Bellinger delivered a winning clutch hit in his 38th career plate appearance as a pinch hitter, helping the Yankees secure a 4-2 win over the Red Sox. Bellinger had previously only had one career pinch-hit RBI before Thursday. Aaron Boone praised Bellinger's performance and said he was not surprised. Gerrit Cole made a second rehab start with High-A Hudson Valley, where he gave up two runs and five hits while striking out four. Carlos Rodón is expected to make his first rehab start Friday and is closer to a return than Cole.
