The "Upside-Down" method is used to eliminate clutter in your kitchen, which can lead to cortisol levels rising in our bodies. The method involves turning plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, and even stored appliances upside-down for a period of time. As you use items, turn them right-side-up and then assess them based on their essential use. This method can be applied to the correct side of the item, but some items, like a large roaster for turkey, may not be used in these two weeks but still necessary throughout the year. Don't keep the items out of landfills and donate them to a local Goodwill, Salvation Army, or other thrift stores.
