Man arrested for stealing car in Fargo, impersonating highway patrol trooper

A North American man, Bruce Laverdure, has been arrested for impersonating a law enforcement officer and stealing a vehicle from the Fargo-Moorhead area. The arrest occurred during a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle near Petersburg, North Dakota, and another deputy and a K-9 were brought in to stop the vehicle from fleeing. The suspect is accused of possessing controlled substances, maintaining a lengthy criminal history dating back to 2005.
