A 6-year-old Florida girl has drawn a heartwarming drawing for a police officer following an investigation into alleged child abuse. The investigation began after the girl showed up at an elementary school with bruises, swelling, and redness. She allegedly told police she had been slapped in the face 17 times and spanked the next day by Jeffrey Morales, 29. The girl's mother, Melissa Husk, allegedly kept her out of school for two days to cover up her injuries. Husk was charged with child neglect and was placed into the custody of the Department of Children and Families.
