French SEO consultancy, Resoneo, has revealed that ChatGPT responses began referencing fewer websites after the early-March transition to GPT-5.3 Instant, indicating that the default experience is now driven more heavily by the G. . The company attributes this change to a decrease in citation usage and increased competition within the site. The average number of unique domains per response dropped from 19 before the transition to 15 after the transition, and the URLs-per-domain ratio remained at 1 throughout the tracking period.
