Boil water advisory lifted after Santee Cooper water line repair

The Lake Moultrie Regional Water System has passed required water quality tests following repairs to a damaged water line. The line served the City of Goose Creek, Summerville CPW, and portions of Berkeley County. The incident occurred when a contractor, not affiliated with Santee Cooper, used heavy equipment in an easement without permission and caused a significant amount of repairs. The results of these tests have been confirmed.
