Daniel Saperstein & Salomon, an attorney and national ambassador for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), is urging New Jersey lawmakers to pass the HALT Drunk Driving Law, which requires passive anti-drunk driving technology in all new vehicles. This law, passed in 2021, is expected to significantly reduce the number of drunk driving deaths in the state between 2019 and 2024. The law has been successful in reducing drunk driving, with ignition interlocks stopping 108% more drunk drivers in New Jersey from 15,757 to 39,775.
