Bill Finn, president and CEO of Reserve Care (formerly Hospice of the Western Reserve), discusses the significance of a new lakefront care center in Cleveland, which is designed for patients and families, as well as the community. The space was designed to feel different from a hospital and create a sense of peace, while expanding access to around-the-clock care, reducing unnecessary emergency visits and hospital stays. The Davis Center for Community Engagement, housed within this new space, will serve as a hub for grief support, education and connection. The new center reflects who Cleveland is and what it seeks to be, a community that believes dignity at the end of life matters equally as much as every moment before it.
