Hollywood Debunked: No, Unions Don’t Make Movie Sets Safer

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), known as IATSE, has been accused of blaming problems on non-union operations on the set of The Daily Wire's new action film, when actor Jonathan Majors fell through a prop window and nearly died. Despite this, IATASE maintains that if they were present on set, nobody could have possibly gotten hurt. This is a claim that IATES has been manipulating producer Dallas Sonnier into entering a collective bargaining agreement with the union. However, this is a game the union lost as he doesn't negotiate with communists. There have been numerous incidents involving union-run Hollywood sets, such as Tom Cruise breaking his ankle on "Mission: Impossible" and Tom Hanks ignoring a cut on his leg and nearly dying.
